– At the moment I am a Russian citizen. And despite everything, I am proud to be Russian, underlined Kastakina.
Note that in the US Open first round match, Kasatkina lost to Harrieta Dart, representing Great Britain.
– If my career will depend on it, then the choice is obvious. I want to continue playing tennis. For me, this is the number one priority, – Kasatkina said honestly.
