Kasper Ruud is the first Norwegian to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament. This is the second stable season of the 23-year-old tennis player’s career. Last year he won 5 titles, this year already 3. However, he has not yet conquered the most prestigious tournaments, such as the Masters or the Slams. But there were chances. This season, Ruud lost the Miami Masters final against Carlos Alcaraz and the Roland Garros final against Rafael Nadal. Either way, Kasper capitulated to the Spaniards and today he has Alcaraz as his opponent again. Note that the Norwegian started the current US Open as the 7th racket in the world, now he is the second in the ATP rankings, and if he wins, he will become number one on the planet.

Carlos Alcaraz only made his debut in the world elite this year. The Spaniard’s success began with a victory at Rio de Janeiro ATP-500, and continued at the Miami Masters.
