“Congratulations Iga! You are a great champion and you proved it once again in the greatest tournament of all time. I’m so happy for you!” Lewandowski wrote on one of the social networks.
On September 10, in the last match of the US Open, Iga Sviontek defeated Tunisian tennis player Uns Jabir with the score 6:2, 7:6. For the 21-year-old tennis player, this victory was the third of the Grand Slam tournaments. Iga has already won the French Open (Roland Garros) twice in 2020 and 2022.
