Ukraine will play with Hungary on September 15-16
Hungarian tennis team captain Zoltan Nagy commented on the upcoming match in the Davis Cup against Ukraine. According to him, Hungary is the favorite of the confrontation.
“It is a pity that we came to Vilnius because of the situation in Ukraine. We know that our opponents will fight with double energy, we must be ready for this. Yes, looking at the rankings, we are clear favorites, but the Davis Cup is a completely different story. We have to be focused and give our all, fight for our team and our country.”
“Three years ago we had a very difficult match against the Ukrainians. The guys fought and fought to the last. Then everything was different, because then we played at home and on clay, now we have to fight on the road on an indoor hard court. I am sure that now we will play more calm matches and will be able to finish the match first. Of course, the goal is to win, we are the favorites. The match between Ukraine and Hungary in the framework of the Davis Cup World Group One will take place on September 15-16 in Vilnius at the SEB Arena club. At stake is a ticket to qualifying for the Davis Cup final.

On September 15, two singles will take place. The start of the broadcast on the Sport 1 TV channel is at 18:00. On September 16, Ukraine and Hungary will play a doubles game and two singles matches, and the show will start at 17:00.
