Iga is the current leader of the WTA rankings
Iga Schwentek from Poland and Ons Gill from Tunisia qualified for the 2022 WTA Finals.
For Sventek, this will be the second consecutive performance at the Final Tournament. Jabeur, in turn, became the first Arab tennis player to take part in the WTA Finals.
Also entered the tournament in Fort Worth Barbora Kreychikova and Katerzhina Sinyakovawho will compete in doubles and are the reigning champions of the tournament.
The final WTA-2022 championship will be held from October 31 to November 7 in Fort Worth (Texas). The event will take place on hard surface. The venue for the final tournament will be Dickies Arena.
Last season, the final tournament was held in Guadalajara. In 2021, Spaniard Garbine Muguruza won the event.
