Nicolás Jarry manages to settle in the semi-finals of Aix-en-Provence and is delighted with his first title in 2022

Nicolás Jarry (147th) continues at a steady pace in Aix-en-Provence and has already managed to reach the semi-finals of the French tournament. He did it after beating the local Alexander Muller (212th) by partials 7-5 and 6-4, in a close match, where the Chilean won again without losing sets.

It was a 1h35 battle, where only the details made the difference. And it is that the two tennis players managed to maintain their services for a large part of the match. In reality Jarry had four sets points at 6-5 and came back , but he still found himself with a strong defense of Gaul. In the last of those set plays, he just managed to clench his fist and tie the partial.

In the second set, a similar story, where Jarry had to keep consistency and take risks with his serve, being completely out of control for Muller. Finally, he managed to close the match with a 6-4 which brings him to his third semi-final of the season all at Challenger level.
