Beindl scores a strong-willed victory in the first round of qualifying for the tournament in Parma

The Ukrainian snatched the victory by taking another game on the opponent’s serve

Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl won a strong-willed victory over the Frenchwoman Elsa Jaquemo in the first round of qualifying for the series tournament WTA 250 in Parma.

The first set was held in an equal fight. Beindl had an opportunity to catch on to the game, but missed it, and then lost her serve, which cost her a set.

Jaquemo at the beginning of the second game took the lead with a score of 3:1, but the Ukrainian was able to turn the tide of the fight. Beindl won five games in a row and moved the match into the third set.

In the decisive game, Beindl achieved an advantage, after which both tennis players began to make mistakes. The opponents took three other people’s submissions until the end of the game. The advantage of the Ukrainian at the start of the set was enough – Beindl won the match, taking the serve of the Frenchwoman.

Katerina will play with Irina Bara in the duel for entering the main draw of the competition. The tournament in Parma will be held from September 26 to October 1.
