Samsonova and Alexandrova have improved their position in the WTA rankings

Russian tennis players Ludmila Samsonova and Ekaterina Alexandrova improved their positions in the updated Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings, according to the organization’s website.

Aleksandrova, who won the Seoul tournament on Sunday, moved up three places to 21st. Tokyo tournament winner Samsonova moved up seven places to 23rd.

Remain the best among the Russians Daria Kasatkina who retained the 11th position.

The ranking is led by 21-year-old Polish Iga Sventek.
