The competition takes place in the Lviv region from September 19 to 22
On the launched Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship 2023 Sprint races took place among men and women. On the first day of the competition, gold medals were won by Artem Prima And Irina Petrenko.
The first start for Ukrainian athletes after the end of the summer Biathlon World Championships took place in Yavoriv, Lviv region. In the men’s sprint, Artem Prima was 11 seconds ahead of Artem Tishchenko on the last lap. Denis Nasyko came third to the finish line.
Irina Petrenko triumphed in the women’s sprint race. Darina Chalyk and Irina Shevchenko also climbed to the podium.
The 2023 Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship is taking place in Yavoriv, Lviv region, from September 19 to 22. On Wednesday 20th the men’s and women’s pursuit races will take place. On Friday, the competition program will be completed by the classic relay races.
