Triple world snowboard champion Dmitry Loginov in a conversation with a correspondent, he said that he would not refuse payments from the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), but so far he has not received any information on this matter.
Earlier, the head of the ROC, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, announced that all Russian participants in the Olympic Games of different years, who are currently active athletes, will receive payments in the absence of international competitions. Gold medalists will receive 500,000 rubles, silver medalists – 350, bronze – 250, sole participants – 150.
— Pozdnyakov said that participants in past and future Olympics will receive payments. Perhaps you have already received information about this?
— Honestly, I haven’t heard of payments. Maybe something will happen. I would be happy (smiles). The financial aspect is always important. The Ministry of Sports and the ROC do not promote the Snowboard World Cups. There are only three starts: the World Championship, the Russian Championship and the Olympic Games. The World Cups were like sponsors and financial debuts. It’s a shame that we won’t take part in it now,” Loginov told .
Loginov is 23 years old. He is a three-time world champion in parallel disciplines and also competed in the 2018 Olympics and the 2022 Games.
