The Copa do Brasil 2026 quarterfinals will feature three classic Brazilian derbies, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed after the draw on the morning of Tuesday, August 11.
Grêmio and Internacional will meet again in the GreNal derby, with the first leg at the Beira-Rio. In the same bracket, Cruzeiro and Atlético-MG will open their Minas Gerais rivalry at the Mineirão. On the other side of the bracket, Palmeiras and Santos will begin their São Paulo derby at the Nubank Park.
The winner of Grêmio against Internacional will face the winner of Cruzeiro against Atlético-MG. The winner of Palmeiras against Santos will face the winner of Vasco against Vitória.
The first-leg quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26. The second legs will be played a week later, on Wednesday, September 3. The CBF has yet to confirm the exact kickoff times and venues for each match.

The GreNal derby is considered one of the biggest in Brazil and the world, given the intense rivalry in Porto Alegre, its historical roots, the passion of local fans and the trophy record of both clubs.
The Minas Gerais derby is the state's biggest football rivalry, pitting the two most successful and popular clubs in Minas Gerais against each other in a rivalry with more than a century of history and championship deciders.
The Palmeiras-Santos matchup, known as the Clássico da Saudade, has a rich history of memorable meetings. Six years ago, the two sides met in the Copa Libertadores final, with Palmeiras coming out on top.
