The tournament in China will take place from November 30 to December 15
On Sunday, November 24, the matches of Group B of the European RMR tournament ended, the results of which determined all Shanghai Major 2024 participants By Counter-Strike 2.
A total of 24 teams will compete at the tournament, two of which represent Ukraine – Natus Vincere and Passion UA. “Born to Win” will play at their 21st CS major, and for the organization, Ukrainian national team player Alexander Zinchenko will make his debut at a major.
Shanghai Major 2024 participants:
- European region: Team Vitality, MOUZ, BIG, 3DMAX, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, Cloud9, G2 Esports, HEROIC, Virtus.pro, Fnatic, Passion UA, Gamer Legion, Team Spirit;
- Americas region: Wildcard, MIBR, Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming, paiN Gaming, Imperial Esports, FURIA Esports;
- Asia-Pacific region: The MongolZ, Rare Atom, FlyQuest.
Another Ukrainian organization, B8 Esports, did not make it past the qualifying stage, suffering three defeats in Group B of the RMR tournament.
The first stage of the major (Opening Stage) will take place from November 30 to December 3. 16 teams will compete for eight tickets to the next round.
Elimination Stage is scheduled for December 5-8. 16 teams will determine the 8 strongest, which will advance to the playoffs (December 12-15) and compete for the main trophy.
Perfect World Shanghai Major will take place from November 30 to December 15. This will be the first CS major in China.
Let us remind you that NAVI became the champions of the previous CS2 major (PGL Major Copenhagen 2024), which was held in the capital of Denmark in March.
