Fortnite Season 7 has arrived as an iceberg collides with the island, introducing new map locations and airborne combat in Stormwing planes. Players can explore new areas such as Frosty Flights and Polar Peak alongside a fresh slate of challenges.

Fortnite Season 7 is here, bringing new map locations, new challenges, and a new Battle Pass

The update features a new Battle Pass available in-game for 950 V-Bucks, which offers over 100 rewards. Players who purchase the Battle Pass instantly receive the Zenith and Lynx progressive outfits.

The free challenges for week one are:

  • Pick up an item of each rarity
  • Dance in seven different forbidden locations
  • Play five matches with at least one elimination

The Battle Pass challenges for week one are:

  • Stage 1: Dance on top of a crown of RV's
  • Stage 2: Dance on top of a metal turtle
  • Stage 3: Dance on a submarine
  • Deal 500 headshot damage to opponents
  • Stage 1: Search five ammo boxes in a single match
  • Eliminate opponents in five different Named Locations
One of the new additions is the Stormwing plane, allowing you to take to the skies of Fortnite

Week one challenge cheat sheet

Reddit user thesquatingdog created an all-inclusive cheat sheet to help players complete this week's challenges. The guide details hidden dance locations and reminders for every active challenge.

Players must complete the match in which they finish challenges to ensure their progress is saved.

Wraps are also new to the game, and will change the look of your vehicles and weapons

Creative mode and server updates

A new Creative mode allows players to build and battle on their own island. Epic Games said players can "Imagine, Build, and Battle like never before." Battle Pass owners get one week of early access to their Creative island before it opens to everyone on December 13.

The update also introduces Wraps, which change the visual appearance of weapons and vehicles. Epic Games has also rolled out minor user interface and performance upgrades for Fortnite servers, with full patch notes available on the official Epic Games website.
