French basketball player Guerschon Yabusele praised Panathinaikos AKTOR as a top level organization comparable to the NBA during the club pre-season media day in Athens.
The power forward said the Greek club provides players with breakfast, lunch, full medical care, and attentive staff support as the squad prepares for the upcoming basketball season.
Yabusele noted that the team is still learning and working through training sessions. He added that teammate Badio speaks French, explaining that they intend to speak French in the locker room and teach a bit of the language to the rest of the squad.
Relationship with Obradovic and team expectations
Discussing his conversations on the court, Yabusele said he spoke with Obradovic about specific game situations and tactical plays. He described Obradovic as a very open person who invited him to speak freely whenever needed, adding that everything has gone smoothly so far.
Panathinaikos AKTOR is a major European basketball club based in Athens, Greece, competing at the highest levels of continental competition. Yabusele joined the team as a key frontcourt addition after playing for the French national team and in top international leagues.
When asked if he had a promise for the supporters, Yabusele declined to make any, stating that promises were not a good thing. He assured fans that he will play at maximum effort in every position, work hard to win as many games as possible, and fight for the team jersey.

Yabusele recognized the deep passion for basketball in his new home, noting that people in Greece watch and die for the sport. He stressed that players must respect each other, the fans, and the organization while competing hard every night.
Looking ahead to his upcoming debut, Yabusele said he is looking forward to his first game with the team. He added that he is eager to feel the crowd atmosphere in the arena and channel that fan energy onto the court.
