Manchester United have confirmed that Betway will become the club's new training kit sponsor in a deal believed to be worth around £20million a year.
Daily Mail Sport revealed in May that United had sealed the multi-year agreement, understood to be the biggest standalone training kit or playing shirt sleeve deal in world football.
The club had been without a sponsor on their men's and women's training gear since their previous deal with Tezos ran out in June 2025. Sources stressed the importance of waiting to do the right training kit deal from a position of strength, with Michael Carrick's side about to return to the Champions League.
Front-of-shirt gambling sponsors are banned in the Premier League from this season, but they remain permitted on training kits. Insiders say the deal will help the club invest in the team and support its primary ambition of winning major trophies.
The agreement between United and Super Group also makes Betway, the online sports betting and gaming brand, the club's official principal partner and exclusive global betting partner. The logo will appear on the men's and women's training kits and feature prominently on matchdays at Old Trafford and the Progress with Unity Stadium.

What the club and sponsor said
Marc Armstrong, United's chief business officer, said the club was delighted to welcome Betway as official principal partner. He said the scale of the new partnership reflected United's growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of the club, and its ability to attract leading brands seeking to engage with its worldwide fanbase.
Armstrong said Betway was a world-renowned brand with a significant presence across world sport, and that United looked forward to working together to accelerate Betway's global ambitions and bring supporters closer to the club.
The partnership is understood to represent Betway's biggest commercial investment to date across a portfolio that includes top-flight football, Formula One, international rugby union, cricket, basketball and tennis.
Betway's global ambitions
Neal Menashe, chief executive officer of Super Group, said the company was thrilled that Betway would become official principal partner and exclusive global betting partner of one of the world's biggest football clubs. He said United's global reach, particularly its fanbase across Africa, aligned perfectly with Betway's key markets.
Menashe said the Premier League was the world's most-watched domestic football competition and offered a powerful platform to connect with fans globally, adding that Betway was excited to be showcased at Old Trafford as part of its ongoing presence in English football's top flight.
