The completion of the investigation into Valieva’s case became known more than a month ago, but RUSADA has made all information about it confidential, as the 16-year-old figure skater is a “protected person”. Earlier, on November 8, it was learned that WADA had appealed to CAS.
“I would have finished Valieva’s case a long time ago! But people want to find something”, is quoted Tarasova by “Championship”.
At the 2022 Olympics in Beijing (China), it turned out that Valieva’s doping test, which was carried out at the Russian championship, gave a positive result. After that, the skater was not allowed to participate in the individual championship, but in the end she was allowed to speak. There she failed the free program and only became 4th.
