Ukrainian became the third in the long jump
Ukrainian athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk won bronze in the long jump at the third stage Diamond League in Italy.
Bekh-Romanchuk took third place with a score of 6.59 meters. The Ukrainian woman was one centimeter ahead of the representative of Nigeria, Ese Brume (6.58 m) and two ahead of the German Malaika Mihambo (6.57 m).
The winner of the competition was the Italian Larissa Yapikino – 6.79 m. Silver went to the American Tara Davis-Woodhall (6.74 m).
This is Bekh-Romanchuk’s second medal this season in the Diamond League. The Ukrainian won silver in the triple jump at the stage in Rabat.
