Diving World Championships Roman Izmailov in an interview with , he said he now works with Russian synchronized swimmers and focuses on acrobatics.

Izmailov ended his career 2.5 years ago.

– Until recently, he worked in a fitness club, but not as actively as immediately after the end of his career. I didn’t see a light, I didn’t see a drive either. Since the fall, I have been invited to work with the synchronized swimming team. They changed the rules and now there is even more work with acrobatics. Such involvement in the highest performance sport is very important to me.

– In “Youth of Moscow”, with Tatyana Evgenievna Danchenko and Elena Voronova.

– Synchronized swimming is hard and meticulous work, our coaches work the smallest details so meticulously. Are you coping with this stress?

– It’s unusual in the women’s team, but I only work with tricks, with acrobatics. We got along well. Elena Voronova is my old friend, who invited me to collaborate. In synchronized swimming, now everyone is outraged because of the rule changes, because the art is taken away from them, but on the contrary, it seems to me that the sport should be more objective. In synchronized swimming, the criteria were very vague. Now this is a clearer assessment.
