The Jets lost their home game 10-15.
Team NFL New York Jets came out with flag of Ukraine on their helmets in a home game against the New England Patriots. The hosts lost with a score of 10:15.
The Jets have also previously expressed support for Ukraine. In April, the club allocated one million dollars to help Ukrainian refugees, which it divided among various charitable foundations.
The Jets’ chairman is Robert Wood Johnson. His wife, Suzanne, comes from a family of Ukrainian immigrants and constantly supports Ukrainian refugees, veterans and their families.
Let us recall that in February, before the start of the 2023 Super Bowl, a speech by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky was shown at the stadium in Glendale (Arizona). After the performance, representatives of the Ukrainian League of American Football – Yuri Gundich, Roman Buguslavsky, Denis Polubinsky and Afley Williams – were invited to the field.
