Chernomorets were scored by his former players
Chernomorets unexpectedly lost at home LNZ in the 16th round Ukrainian Premier League – 1:3.
The first half was goalless. At the beginning of the second half, ex-Seamen player Alexey Khoblenko opened the scoring in favor of the guests. Chernomorets equalized the score through the efforts of Andrey Shtogrin, but the ending was left to LNZ.
Odessa lost the fourth match in a row. The Cherkassy club, on the contrary, extended its unbeaten streak to five matches. Oleg Dulub’s team was brought forward by another ex-Odessa resident, Vladislav Naumets, and in injury time, Denis Oleynik set the final score.
Thanks to this victory, LNZ scored 20 points, surpassed the Odessa team in the table and took 9th place. Chernomorets has 19 points left.
In the next round, LNZ will host Minaj, and Chernomorets will play at home with Kolos.
