Rodina beat Zenit 2:1 away in a third-round Russian Premier League match, according to a Lenta.ru correspondent.
Zenit took the lead in the 23rd minute through Maxim Glushenkov. Rodina responded in the second half with a brace from Artur Garibyan, who scored in the 59th and 65th minutes to complete the comeback.
First RPL win for Rodina
The result marked the first Russian Premier League victory in the history of Juan Diaz's side. After three rounds, Rodina have three points and sit 11th in the table.
Rodina will next face Akron on August 15 in Khimki, with kickoff at 14:00 Moscow time. Zenit remain on six points after three games and will host Moscow's Dynamo in round four on August 16, starting at 14:30 Moscow time.
