In a tense grand final, the French team beat Team Liquid
Team Vitality became the winner of the tournament ESL Pro League Season 16 on CS:GO. In the grand final, the French team defeated Team Liquid – 3:2.
After three maps, Team Vitality was losing 1:2 (Inferno — 7:16, Dust II — 16:7, Mirage — 21:25), but managed to turn the tide of the meeting. The French team won the next two maps (Overpass – 19:17, Vertigo – 16:11) and got the final victory.

The winner of ESL Pro League Season 16 earned 200 thousand dollars. Team Vitality also received tickets to BLAST World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023. Team Liquid received $85,000.

ESL Pro League Season 16 was held in Malta from August 31 to October 2. The prize fund of the tournament is 835 thousand dollars.
