Samurai earned 500 thousand dollars
Command G2 Esports became champion final tournament of the year CS:GO — BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
G2 Esports won the final Team Liquid — 2:0. The samurai turned out to be stronger than the opponent on Inferno (16:7) and Mirage (16:12).
For the victory at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, the Samurai earned 500 thousand dollars. This is G2 Esports’ first big title since 2017 when the team won DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017.
Note that G2 Esports got into a scandalous situation after the 1/2 final match against FaZe (2:0). Team players took pictures with fans, one of whom was holding the flag of the Russian Federation.
BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 was held in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 18 December. The Ukrainian team Natus Vincere finished the tournament at the 1/4 final stage, losing to Team Liquid (1:2).
