The preseason in League of Legends has been moved. Rekkles returned to Fnatic, Jankos joined Team Heretics, Josedeodo returned to LLA and DRX renewed their roster, to name a few examples.
For all these movements and to start the season with a lot of hype, Riot Games has seen fit to launch an event that will take place in all regions. Two teams from each region will face each other in a Bo3 with the best players selected by the leagues themselves.
The event will present several differences with respect to the traditional competition: no blocking champions and can’t re-select a character used. The winner of this hand-in-hand will have the prize of designing their own gesture for the team they represent. Season Kickoff airs next Tuesday and on Wednesday at 4:00 pm it’s LLA’s turn. It can be followed by the official Twitch and YouTube accounts of different regions.
