Unlike the MSI played in 2022 which was played between 11 teams, held this year in London will have 13 participants. the stage of The Play-In will consist of 8 teams and will take place in two groups with double direct elimination in a Bo3. Representatives of the leagues of LLA, Brazil, Japan, Southeast Asia and Vietnam will be present in the first stage along with the second classified from Europe, China and North America. How to play the next League of Legends Worlds: venue, number of teams, Qualifying Series and Swiss System

That means, a team qualifies for the Elimination Phase if it achieves three wins and is eliminated if it achieves three losses. The first round will be decided by a draw but from the second, they will be matched according to their results.

The Elimination Phase will include the 8 classified teams of the Swiss System, arranged by their location in the table this time. All keys will be held in a Bo5 and will determine the 2023 Worlds champion.
