The Figital Games 4 prize fund will amount to one million rubles

On March 9-10, a tournament in the discipline of phygital races will be held at the Labor Reserve Stadium in Kazan. In the digital part of the competition, participants will demonstrate their ability to drive a virtual LADA Kalina NFR R1 car in the Assetto Corsa simulator, and in the physical phase, winter karting awaits them on a specially prepared ice-covered track. The prize fund for the Games will be one million rubles.

There are many well-known Russian racers among the tournament participants. Airat Mardeev, 2015 Dakar Rally winner, Anton Shibalov, Silk Road champion, Mikhail Simonov, multiple Russian ice racing champion, Aidar Nureyev, European rallycross champion, Alexander Smolyar, winner of the International Formula Championship 3, and other top drivers. Also in Kazan will be the team of Boris Garifullin, the winner of the competition in figital racing (Assetto Corsa + karting), which took place last fall.

— Our close friend Boris Garifullin won the last digital racing competition, and of course I heard about the new format of the competition more than once. When the offer was received, I immediately accepted and attracted the guys from our KAMAZ Master team. I really like this direction. You can see that there is development and involvement in all sports. Thanks to phygital, the coverage of competitions is expanding – they are of interest to racing fans, the athletes themselves and video game enthusiasts. This will popularize motorsport, attract more people and sponsors.

There will be very interesting participants in Kazan, it will be interesting to meet them. I have experience performing on ice surfaces. More recently, I took part in competitions in Naberezhnye Chelny, but on trucks. The specifics are different, but we try to use ice in our training,” said Airat Mardeev.

“Fightital is the future, and you have to get used to it. This is my first experience in Fidzhital games, there is a little fear in a video game, because I’m not very friendly with the virtual world, but in a real race I will feel 100%. I will hone my skills with my teammates in computer games, and I think everything will be fine. I am not participating for the extras, but for the result. I will do my best, although this is new to me,” Aidar Nuriev said.

Guests of the competition will be former Formula 1 team drivers Vitaly Petrov and Sergey Sirotkin. Fidget Games 4 will also feature popular streamers Dmitry Liks (Dmitry_Lixxx) and Alexey Pchelkin (Pch3lk1n).
