esports organization Virtus.pro has been cleared to compete in CS:GO competitions from ESL (starting March 28) and BLAST (starting March 22) under its own label, according to website Virtus.pro.
Tournament operators imposed sanctions against Virtus.pro in the spring of 2022. The compositions of the Russian organization played at international tournaments under a neutral flag and with a different label (Outsiders).
— We welcome the decision of BLAST and ESL to return Virtus.pro to their tournaments following the results of comprehensive checks, which confirmed that the club has met all requirements for reinstatement, — said CEO of Virtus.pro Nikolay Petrosyan.
In September 2022, Virtus.pro announced a change in ownership and entrepreneur Aram Karamanukyan became the new CEO of the esports club. Later, it was announced that former ESforce holding chief Nikolai Petrosyan was appointed as the club’s new CEO.
