From May 16 to 19, Kazan will host the “Figital Games”. The Tennis Academy will host an international digital football tournament with the participation of 8 teams from 6 countries. There are many well-known footballers and e-sportspeople among the participants.

Former players of the Russian national team and Spartak Moscow will play for her Roman Shishkin And Alexander Chechukov as well as another ex-Spartakist Vladislav Ryzhkov . In the digital part of the competition, they will be able to count on the winner of the Cup of Russia-2022 in interactive football, Pavel Skuratov.

– In the sense of phygital there is a sports theme. As a sportsman, it is very interesting for me. Also, we haven’t had any such projects yet, and neither in the world, so the sport we’re used to is so closely tied to esports. I hope this project will grow and move forward. As a footballer who played at the highest level, in the Russian national team, I wonder what the level of classic football will be in Kazan. The level of opponents who will perform at the “Figital Games” is very interesting,” said Roman Shishkin.

— Fidzhital is an interesting new direction that is actively developing. Professional soccer players play soccer on simulators a lot, and it’s no secret. I myself have been playing for a long time, since I was 10-11 years old. Will we football professionals compete with cyberfootball players, I don’t know. But I can say that we know which buttons to press to shoot, to pass. Yes, and we know other tricks… It will be interesting to play with e-sports. Since the tournament, I look forward to meeting good teams in the first place, a good fight, fair play and, probably, victory in the tournament. Three teams at a time will represent South America at the “Figital Games”. These are R10 (Brazil), Atlético Peñarol (Uruguay) and 3 Estrellas Fc (Argentina). The Brazilians include goalkeeper Luan Teles, who plays for the national team in a 7v7 format, and several footballers who went through the school of the famous club Atlético Peñarol will play for the Uruguayans. The leader of the Argentinian team 3 Estrellas is Franco Bartucci “Franbar”. At 16, he was a trainee at the Spanish academy of “Barcelona”, but made a choice in favor of e-football. He is one of the founders of the Argentine League of Streamers, and some of his stars will be playing Kazan at the Digital Games.

The Persian Gulf team of Iran will be played by players who have played in the highest, such as Emad Javadi, or the second division of the country’s championship. Many Obilic players were educated in the schools of serious Serbian clubs such as Crvena Zvezda and OFK and they are a very well trained team.

– We have never been to Russia and accepted with great pleasure the invitation to perform at the “Figital Games”. It’s something new, something special, and we want to be part of the story. It would be great to play against the Brazilians and represent our country with dignity,” said Ivan Ivanovich, a player from Obilic’s team.

Volgograd “Rotor” has an interesting team, which won the regional selection. There are also classic football players here, like Andrey Komarov and Artur Grigoryan, and football simulator specialist Danil Generalov (GoodDaniClek).

Recall that fidget football competitions consist of two parts: first, players fight in a football simulator, then, with points scored in a virtual game, they move to a real mini football field and identify the strongest there.

In the football simulator, the teams compete according to the rules of interactive football in Volta 5×5 mode. Between them, a match takes place: 2 athletes from the team participate in each half. In the second stage, in the physical part of the match, competitions are held according to the rules of mini-football. There are 5 players from each team on the field, 2 are substitutes. The winner is determined by the sum of the goals scored in the two stages. In the event of a tie in goals scored and goals conceded, the winner is determined by a series of post-match kicks from the six-yard mark.

Calendar of football “Figital Games” in Kazan:

May 16-17 – group stage.

May 18 – 1/4 finals, 1/2 finals.

May 19 – Match for 3rd place, final.

The Figurative Football group stage will be played in the GSL format: teams that win the group stage advance directly to the semi-finals. Teams that lose both group matches are eliminated. And the teams that take 2nd and 3rd place go to the quarter-finals. From stage 1/4, competitions are held according to the Olympic system.
