Valve has officially announced The International Dota 2 tournament, which will take place in October 2023 in Seattle (USA).
We are thrilled to announce that The International is returning to Seattle in October. The best teams from around the world will compete for the Aegis of Champions at the Climate Pledge Arena, which will host the largest attendance in the history of the tournament.
The group stage will begin on October 14, followed by the playoffs. These two stages will merge under the name “Road to The International”, and we will tell you more in the coming weeks.
The International itself will be held October 27-29, Valve said in a statement.
In 2022, The International 2022 was won by European team Tundra Esports, who beat Team Secret 3-0 in the final. The team received 45% of the prize, which amounted to $18,865,624.
