On June 25, FAVBET partners, FC Dynamo Kyiv and Monte agreed, if not in principle, then definitely in an exciting confrontation in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. They played not just for fun, but for a good cause – the funds raised during the live broadcast were transferred to the initiative UNITED24 for reconstruction destroyed by the Russians Mikhailo-Kotsyubyny lyceum in the Chernihiv region.
Maxim Dyachuk, Nikolay Shaparenko, Nazar Voloshin and Alexander Karavaev became the participants of the show match from Dynamo. They were opposed by Monte founder Vladimir “Woro2k” Veletnyuk, Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko, Aidyn “KrizzeN” Turlybekov, as well as team coach Sergey “lmbt” Bezhanov.
During the match, the main four of each team were also joined by two special guests: rap artist Tricky Nicki and comedian Anton Skuratov. The well-known eSports commentator Arseniy “ceh9” Trynozhenko commented on the match.
The teams played two matches during the day. In the first, to equalize the chances, the Monte players made the task more difficult. Before the match, they chose random packages of accessories that they must use throughout the match – tinted glasses, women’s gloves, and others.
However, such a surprise from the organizers did not prevent one of the best European CS:GO teams from winning a landslide victory. And “DemQQ” gave the audience a memorable highlight, in one round taking on the knife three opponents at once.
The second match was played with mixed teams, and this time Dynamo, led by Nikolai Shaparenko, managed to win.
The live broadcast of the show match was watched by several thousand eSports and football fans, thanks to whom the event raised more than UAH 60,000 for charity. The recording of the broadcast is still available on YouTube page Dynamo.
