A large-scale Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament, held in preparation for the Game of the Future international multi-sport competition, has ended in Kazan. Teams from Russia, Turkey, Myanmar and Mongolia made it to the final stage.
At the start of the day, there was a match for third place. The Russian club fought with a team from Türkiye. Fire Flux Impunity came to the game better prepared and was able to beat Deus Vult in no time. It only took the team two games to win.
Fire Flux Impunity (Turkey) – Deus Vult (Russia) – 2:0
The final match was different from other games in the tournament, the format of the final is Bo5 (to win, the team must win 3 times). Falcon Esports started with a confident victory, but they didn’t plan to concede to the Lilgun team and destroyed the opponent’s base twice – 2:1. Game 4 kept everyone on edge until the very end – no one doubted Falcon Esports would win and reach the final, Game 5, but the Mongolian club turned the tide of the game at the very last moment and won on the map and in the tournament.
Falcon Esports (Myanmar) — Team Lilgun (Mongolia) — 1:3
The Lilgun team won the Digital Flame Cup. In addition, the team won 1.25 million rubles. The remaining prize money (the total prize money for the tournament is 3 million rubles) was distributed among the teams:

Igor Stolyarov, head of the Game of the Future project, explained why the mobile game tournament attracted a large number of viewers not only on the online broadcast, but also on the tournament site in Kazan:
“MLBB is a very popular game. But don’t forget that Figital Games and Games of the Future is a strong brand that continues to attract new audiences. We launched an advertising campaign, we are running a campaign to increase brand awareness. From this, the potential accumulates, therefore, in the eyes of the community, we have acquired the traits of a good sports operator.
According to the latest data, the number of views of our shows on MLBB has exceeded 6,000,000 people. That’s a pretty serious claim to success. We have big and ambitious goals for the ninth Fidgetal Games in terms of attracting an online audience. I can say that for the first time in the history of the Games, we launched an advertising campaign to increase the visibility of our MLBB and Dota 2 tournaments. This explains the success of online broadcasts.
But that’s only a small part of what we wanted to achieve. 6 million is of course good, but we are not resting on our laurels, ”said Igor Stolyarov.
As a reminder, from July 24 to 27, the Kazan Expo IEC will host Fidget Games 9 in the Dota 2 discipline. You can participate in the tournament for free, but you need to reserve a place on the kassir.ru website.
The Fidget Games are a series of test competitions in physical disciplines preceding the Future Games, which include competitions in 16 hybrid disciplines. Each of the disciplines combines the concept of “phygital” (physical + digital), combining classic sports and e-sports or VR-/AR technology and testing both the physical form of the athletes and their digital dexterity. The Future Games tournament will be held in Kazan from February 23 to March 2, 2024.
