Russian team Team Spirit defeated Virtus.pro in the quarter-finals of the upper bracket of The International 2023 on Dota 2.
Team Spirit, for which Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk, Denis Larl Sigitov, Magomed Collapse Khalilov, Miroslav Mira Kolpakov and Yaroslav Miposhka Naydenov play, defeated their opponents in the best-of-three series with a score of 2-1.
Team Spirit reached the semi-finals of the upper bracket, Virtus.pro fell to the lower bracket, where they will play with the winner of the Tundra Esports – Entity pair.
No earlier than 2 p.m. Moscow time, another Russian team, 9Pandas, will play in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket against Chinese LGD Gaming. On October 22, another Russian team, BB Team, will play in the first round of the lower group with Vivo Keyd Stars.
