Russian team Team Spirit reached the final of the upper bracket of The International 2023 Dota 2 Playoffs.
In the semifinals, Team Spirit, represented by Russians Denis larl Sigitov, Magomed Collapse Khalilov and Yaroslav Miposhka Naydenov, as well as Ukrainians Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk and Miroslav Mira Kolpakov, defeated the Swedish team Team Liquid with a score of 2- 1.
Team Spirit will face Chinese team LGD Gaming to reach the grand final of The International; the match will take place on October 29 and will start at 02:00 (Moscow time). Team Liquid entered the 4th round of the lower bracket, where they will meet the Gaimin Gladiators team, for which Russian Anton Dyrachyo Shkredov plays.
TI 12 for Dota 2 will take place from October 12 to 30 in Seattle (USA). The tournament’s prize pool currently stands at just over $3.1 million.
