Russian team Team Spirit won more than $1.4 million by winning the Dota 2 The International 2023 tournament, which ended in Seattle (USA).
On Sunday, Team Spirit, which includes Russians Denis larl Sigitov, Magomed Collapse Khalilov and Yaroslav Miposhka Naydenov, as well as Ukrainians Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk and Miroslav Mira Kolpakov, defeated the Gladiators on three maps with a score of 3-0.
The Gladiators, for whom Russian Anton Dyrachyo Shkredov plays, among others, will receive nearly $378,000 in prize money. LGD Gaming from China, which became the third, will receive almost $252,000.
Another Russian team, BetBoom Team, took 5th and 6th place and earned just over $102,000, Russian Virtus.pro earned over $78,000 for entering the top 8.
The total tournament prize pool, which is collected by fans of the game by purchasing various in-game rewards, was just over $3.1 million.
