Russian team Spirit defeated European team FaZe Clan in the final of the Counter‑Strike 2 IEM Katowice 2024 tournament.
In the final, Team Spirit won with a score of 3-0 (13:9 – Nuke, 13:11 – Mirage, 13:3 – Overpass). The team is made up of four Russians: Leonid chopper Vishnyakov, Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov, Boris magixx Vorobyov and Danil donk Kryshkovets, as well as the Ukrainian Miroslav zont1x Plahot.
The IEM Katowice 2024 tournament with a prize pool of $1 million took place from January 31 to February 11 in Katowice (Poland). Team Spirit received $400,000 for the victory and places in the IEM Cologne 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 tournaments.
