Ten more TI participants will be determined based on the results of qualifying tournaments
Company Valve provided a list of teams that received direct invitations to The International 2024. To the tournament Dota 2 have already qualified Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaming Gladiators And BetBoom Team.
Ten more participants in TI 2024 will be determined based on the results of qualifying tournaments in six regions: Western Europe – 2 spots, closed qualification will be held on June 19-23, Eastern Europe (1 spot, June 14-18), China (2 spots, June 9-13) , North America (1 tour, June 9-13), South America (2 tours, June 14-18), Southeast Asia (2 tours, June 19-23). Open qualifiers in all six regions are scheduled for June 3-8.
Note that NAVI and NAVI Junior received invitations to closed qualifications. The main team of “Born to Win” will play in the Eastern Europe region, the youth team will play in the Western Europe selection.
The International 2024 will take place in Copenhagen. 16 teams will take part in the tournament. TI starts on September 4 with group stage matches, the grand final is scheduled for September 15 at the Royal Arena in the capital of Denmark. Tickets go on sale June 10.
The current TI winner is Team Spirit, which defeated Gaimin Gladiators (3:0) in the grand finals.
