Samurai won the tournament in the USA, playing with a replacement
Team G2 Esports became the winner of the tournament Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024 By CS2. Samurai won the grand final Team Vitality — 2:1 (Inferno — 19:16, Anubis — 13:16, Nuke — 13:8).
Interestingly, G2 Esports won IEM Dallas 2024 while playing stand-in. Jackie “Stewie2K” Yip replaced Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen, who missed the tournament for personal reasons.
Team Vitality took second place for the second tournament in a row. In mid-May, the Bees lost to MOUZ in the grand finals of ESL Pro League Season 19
For winning the tournament in the USA, G2 received 100 thousand dollars and a ticket to IEM Cologne 2024. Vitality earned 42 thousand dollars. 3-4th place went to 9z Team and Team Spirit.
Let us remind you that two Ukrainian organizations took part in the tournament in Dallas. Monte finished the tournament in final 13-16th place, Natus Vincere also did not make it to the playoffs (9-12th position).
