The Swedish organization lost to The MongolZ
Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas lost The MongolZ in the final of the tournament YaLLa Compass 2024 By CS2.
NiP turned out to be stronger on the first map (Ancient – 16:12), but failed to bring the confrontation to victory. The next two maps (Mirage – 7:13 and Nuke – 6:13) remained with The MongolZ.
The MongolZ received 200 thousand dollars for winning YaLLa Compass 2024. This is the first S-tier tournament trophy in history for an organization from Mongolia.
NiP earned 56 thousand dollars. 3rd-4th place was taken by Astralis and FURIA Esports (28 thousand dollars each).
Since April 2024, 19-year-old Ukrainian Artem “r1nkle” Moroz has been playing for NiP. His previous team was B8, for which he has played since 2021.
The YaLLa Compass 2024 tournament was held in Abu Dhabi from June 5 to 9. 12 teams competed for a prize fund of 400 thousand dollars.
