Monte left out of tournament in China
Another Ukrainian eSports team has made it to the RMR tournament To Shanghai Major 2024 following the results of the closed European qualification. The next stage of the selection in China will feature B8.
B8 secured the coveted ticket thanks to a victory over the Ukrainian organization Monte in the final match of Group A – 2:0 (Ancient – 13:11, Mirage – 13:1).
B8 finished the qualifying tournament with a 3-2 result. Earlier, the team in Group A defeated ENTERPRISE and Rhyno, and lost to SINNERS and PARIVISION.
Monte (2-3) were left out of the RMR tournament and, accordingly, the major. In addition to the defeat from B8, the team lost to KOI and Dynamo Eclot, and also beat UNiTY and ENCE.
B8 Esports is a Ukrainian eSports organization created by legendary NAVI Dota 2 player Daniil “Dendi” Ishutin.
Let us recall that for the first time in history, Alexander Zinchenko’s organization Passion UA made it to the RMR tournament. Natus Vincere received a direct invitation.
The RMR tournament will be held in a LAN format in China from November 17 to 24. The Perfect World Shanghai Major itself will be held from November 30 to December 15. This will be the first CS major in China.
We did it! Our team has qualified for the RMR! 🎉
Thanks to everyone who supported us through this journey. We’re ready to take on the next challenge and give it our all.
Stay tuned, and let’s go even further together 🤜🤛 pic.twitter.com/hEtwJgrg1P
