Russian eSports player will not be able to play at The International 2024 in Denmark due to visa issues

Russian Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, who plays for European organization Tundra Esports, will not participate in The International 2024 on Dota 2, the team’s press service reports.

The Russian was not granted a visa for Denmark.

“Despite our best efforts, the situation with 9Class’s visa has not been resolved, so he will not be able to participate in The International 2024. This is not how we planned everything, and our hearts are breaking because of the situation with Edgar. Despite the hardships, we will do everything we can to make 9Class and you proud of us,” the statement read.

Tundra Esports also includes two other Russians: Ivan Pure Moskalenko and Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev.

The tournament will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen.
