Russian player 9Class will not play at The International 2024 in Copenhagen due to visa issues

He will be replaced in the Tundra Esports roster by North Macedonian Saksa

British eSports organisation Tundra Esports reported that the Russian player Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan won’t help the team on The International 2024 in Copenhagen due to visa problems. He will be replaced by a North Macedonian Martin “Saksa” Sazdov.

In addition to 9Class, Tundra also features two other Russian players, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, as well as Finn Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen and Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon from Indonesia. There are no reports of visa issues with these players.

Let us recall that in May 2024, Tundra Esports also missed the PGL Wallachia Season 1 tournament in Bucharest due to visa issues.

A total of 16 teams will play at The International 2024. The Dota 2 tournament will start on September 4 with group stage matches, and the grand final is scheduled for September 15 at the Royal Arena in the Danish capital.
