The Ukrainian organization received 20 thousand dollars in prize money for second place
Ukrainian esports organization B8 took second place in the tournament ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 By Counter-Strike 2.
In the final of the LAN tournament in Poland, B8 played with the Portuguese team SAW and were defeated with a score of 0:2 (Ancient – 3:13, Nuke – 5:13).
For second place, B8 earned $20 thousand in prize money. SAW received 50 thousand dollars and a ticket to ESL Pro League Season 21.
Let us remind you that 3rd-4th place in the tournament was taken by Monte, who lost to SAW in the semifinals (0:2). Team Falcons with Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev took last place in Group A and did not make it to the playoffs.
ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 took place in Poland on October 25-27. Eight teams competed for a prize fund of $100,000.
