STALKER 2 attracted more than 416 thousand peak viewers on Twitch on its release day. This is the fifth result among all game releases in 2024

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, game from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, became the most popular on November 20 on the streaming service Twitch, and also showed one of the best viewership results on the day of release in 2024.

According to Ukrainian analytical company Stream ChartsNovember 20 (the day the game was released), STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl broadcasts on Twitch collected more than 416.4 thousand viewers at peak – this is the best result of any game that day and the fifth result of all game releases in 2024.

In total, STALKER 2 streams generated approximately 2.65 million hours watched on Twitch on November 20th. Almost two thirds (32.3%) were broadcast in English and Russian. The share of the Ukrainian language was about 9.2%. Most STALKER 2 streamers were in the USA, Ukraine and Poland.

Ukrainian Leb1ga entered the top ten most popular STALKER 2 streamers on the day of release. It took fifth position in terms of peak online traffic – 35.8 thousand. Interestingly, on the day of release, more than 113.5 thousand people simultaneously played STALKER 2.

STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl was expected to be released in 2022, but due to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, plans were changed. Later, the game’s release was postponed to 2023, then to the first quarter of 2024, and then to September and November.

STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl will be a continuation of the series of games STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), STALKER: Clear Sky (2008) and STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2009).
