Riot Games wants to provide the best experience for Worlds players by bringing these ranked queues back to North American servers.

What is Champions Queue, the new qualifying queue that professionals will use for Worlds

Earlier this year, Riot Games launched an exclusive ranked queue for professional players and select rookies in North America to train in a friendly environment. The tool offers very low ping, no flammer, and thousands of dollars in prizes.

Due to the success of the first edition, Champions Queue returns to NA to prepare players for Worlds and does so with some improvement. To provide a low latency environment, Champions Queue will move to servers of World Cup venues. First it goes to Mexico City for the Play-Ins, then it goes to Chicago and ends in Los Angeles.

All matches played in this ranked queue will be played using the Worlds patchat 12.18 to be released on the 20th of the current month.

Worlds 2022: when does it start and what are the venues

League of Legends’ most important international event will open its doors on the 29th of this month in Mexico City for Play-In. From October 7 to 23, he will move to New York for the group stage and quarterfinals.
