The Argentine organization was defeated 3-1 by the Mexican cast and lost its place in the highest category of League of Legends in Latin America.
After one season in LLA, The Globant Emerald lost without extenuation to The Kings in Promotion/Relegation and gave up their place in the competition. The team consisting of MrLemon, Warangelus and the Argentinians Whitelotus, Newbie and Nate had positive reactions throughout the series but they were not enough to turn the score back.
Globant Emerald lost to The Kings and will not be in LLA 2023
Despite the great favoritism of The Kings, Globant Emerald showed defiantness and fought until the end to keep their place in the LLA. The first two maps saw a very aggressive Mexican team dominating the Argentine organization. It quickly became 2-0 and everything seemed to indicate that the series would close at the third point but GET brought out the self-esteem that characterizes it.
In the third game, the cast consisting of MrLemon, Warangelus, Nate, Newbie and Whitelotus overturned the huge gold difference and, with great patience, built the only victory he would achieve in the night.
The last point of the series is the most equal. Despite the noticeable difference in gold in favor of the Mexican cast, the game is very balanced and a small mistake can cause an imbalance. And that’s what happened. GET got off to a bad start and thus ended their season participation in the LLA. The Kings closed an amazing season after winning both the split with Mexico and promotion to the most important tournament in the region with incredible numbers.
