The striker scored a brace in Atlético’s match with Feyenoord
Attack Atlético Alvaro Morata recognized Player of the week based on the results of the second round Champions League 2023/24.
The forward scored a brace against Feyenoord (3:2). The Madrid team achieved a strong victory and topped the Group E standings.
The quartet of the best players of the week was also completed by Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Bruma (Braga) and Rasmus Hoylund (Manchester United). Each of them recorded two effective actions in their matches (a double by Hoylund, a goal+assist by Bellingham and Bruma).
Atletico will play away against Celtic in the third round of the Champions League on October 25. Diego Simeone’s team will play their next match on October 8 against Real Sociedad.
